A walk to remember

One of those days from last year when there is no wind on the surf spot and we go walking through the island and jumping in the crystal water of the sea. Although I am already enthusiastic about windsurfing after 5 years, I have to say that those days of exploring new places, climbing rocks, finding hidden pieces of heaven and jumping in the water are one of my favorites!

Birthday in Paris

Some not uploaded birthday photos from my birthday spent in Paris during my exchange semester. My love came to visit me and we had a wonderful time together. This place became one of my favorite places in Paris while I was there - the terrace of the center of contemporary art George Pompidou in the 4th district le Marais.

The historic and long aristocratic Parisian district, it is now a home of the artsy and fashionable Parisians and hosts countless art galleries, small designer shops and restaurants. It also became my go-to place for seeking vintage finds :)

Island impressions

These are just some impressions from the island, all the photos are from the iPhone, as we don't bring the camera with us most of the time. Once we got off the but on the port, while waiting for the ferry, I ordered a turkish coffee. It coffee is not one of my favorite things in Turkey but I enjoy having one once in a while. Most of the times I just don't know when I'm supposed to stop drinking, in order not to eat the leftover coffee on the bottom of the cup :D

I have to say that the ice cream is to die for, especially the mulberry one and the one that has a texture like a chewing gym :D

On the way back from the seaside

That's where we landed on the way back from our friend's birthday on the seaside in Bulgaria last week - Begliktash (Беглик таш). The place is a Tracian rock sanctuary and it was very exciting to walk around there and feel its energy. It is a megalith of rocks, which have been arranged by the Tracian tribes for religious ceremonies.

It was such a nice weekend, I love those moments when we have time to go and explore the beauties and wonders of Bulgaria, as they are just countless!!!

Waiting for the ferry

Here we go again - on our way to our island of wind - Gokceada - one of the best places for windsurfing near Bulgaria.

Truth to be told, my boy is crazy about windsurfing, as I am about him. As a result, we often spend a lot of time on surf destinations, and on this exact island in particular. Although is doesn't seem that exotic on the first look, this place actually has so much to offer!

They have their own BIO agriculture and produce their own fruit and vegetables on the island, which taste absolutely amazing! Their are also plenty of olive trees, from which they produce their own BIO olive oil.

My favorite thing though is that in August we can just stop the car while driving and pick figs, as much as we want :D

Is this an attempt to earn some extra money while on the island? :D
